Breast Cancer and men – Episode 08

Posted by victoria on 20 September 2021

The vast majority of breast cancer diagnoses are given to women but in around 1 in 100 cases, it’s a man who’s being told they have it. In this episode, Victoria talks to one of the 350 men each year in Britain that happens to. Brought to you by the Future Dreams breast cancer charity, “And Then Came Breast Cancer” is for everyone – women and men- whose lives have been touched by the disease. You can contact us at podcast@futuredreams.org.uk for help and advice and Victoria is @VicDerbyshire on Twitter and Instagram. If you have been touched by breast cancer – Future Dreams is here to help

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help.
