Test your knowledge: Mental Health & Breast Cancer

Question: The emotional impact of breast cancer goes away after treatment ends?

True?

False?

Answer: False! The emotional impact of breast cancer can last long after active treatment ends. The fear of recurrence, scanxiety, mental health trauma and ongoing side effects of treatment are all things people can experience after being diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s why it’s so important to not just deal with the physical treatment of breast cancer, but mental health support too. At Future Dreams, we get it. That’s why we provide classes, workshops and 121s, both in-person and online, to support everyone impacted by breast cancer – whether you were diagnosed yesterday or 10 years ago.

We also have our Information Hub which has many articles on the theme of mental health. Check it out here.

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
