Katy Warrington

Physiotherapist & Scar Tissue Massage

Katy runs a breast physiotherapy service within a London private hospital outpatient department. Working together with her patients, Katy focusses on individual goals and alleviating symptoms which may have developed following surgery and/or extended cancer treatment. She feels it is a privilege to be part of a persons’ journey through their breast cancer treatment. Many people experience side effects which include tightness/stiffness, scar tissue, cording, fatigue and struggle to return to their pre diagnosis activities. Katy uses a range of hands on treatments including scar massage, mobilisation techniques and exercise provision to support patients back to their meaningful hobbies, promote participation in exercise, and reduce tightness and lymphoedema risk. Katy also has experience assessing, managing and treating lymphoedema of the upper limb and breast.
