Lisa Behzadi is a qualified Microsystems & Auricular Acupuncturist, a specialist in NADA & Battlefield protocols for pain. Lisa is also a qualified Kinesiologist and Aroma-Point Therapist. Acupuncture is safe for all stages of breast cancer, from first diagnosis, during / after treatment and beyond. It can help ease the side effects & symptoms of breast cancer treatment, including stress, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, hot flushes, night sweats, PTSD and much more by bringing balance to the body, mind, and spirit.
Treatments given to people after a breast cancer diagnosis can cause hot flushes’ ranging from uncomfortable to debilitating. Studies have shown the benefits of the NADA protocol (developed at the Lincoln Memorial Hospital in New York) for cancer patients in reducing the side effects of treatment and aiding sleep & relaxation. Battlefield Acupuncture is a protocol for pain management. Lisa uses a combination of Acupuncture, Kinesiology and Aroma-Touch (aromatherapy) in her sessions, providing a calm and relaxing space.
Lisa is available every Friday from 11am to 5pm for 1-2-1 appointments and hosts a community group acupuncture session every Thursday at 11am bookable from the workshop/classes schedule.
