Breast Cancer & Scanxiety- Episode 2

Posted by Olivia Phillips on 08 May 2026

Nobody likes waiting for a test – or a test result. There’s even a name for it – “Scanxiety” for when you wonder whether your cancer has come back or got worse or spread or whether the appointment coming up will get cancelled at the last minute. How do you control that feeling?

In this episode Victoria gets advice from three women – Amanda, Melissa and Dawn who have all found ways to deal with it.

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help.
