Future Dreams has created a breast cancer support centre, based in central London called Future Dreams House
Visitors will be able to access practical support including image workshops, life coaching, financial and nutritional advice on exercise and healthy eating from this central London location, perhaps the most vital function of the new centre is to provide a non-medical environment in which people can form friendships and networks that will help them to take on this disease from a place of solidarity and empowerment.
Learn moreFuture Dreams creates and supports breast health awareness programmes to encourage everyone to know their normal, check out changes and ultimately save lives.
One in seven women will experience breast cancer in their lifetime. Future Dreams wants all women, and men, to be taught from an early age to know their normal and look out for any changes.
Our awareness iniativesWhether you were diagnosed today or ten years ago we can support you, and those you love.
During the height of the pandemic Future Dreams reached out to those women facing their breast cancer hospital appointments alone due to the Government’s rules on social distancing. In response to feedback from breast care nurses, we created care packages to let patients know they were not alone and that someone was thinking of them.
Alongside breast care nurses we work with the NHS and other organisations to support women and men going through breast cancer and those around them.
How we provide supportThe UK has some of the world’s leading scientists working on preventing and curing secondary breast cancer – but they need more money to do it.
Future Dreams has donated in excess of £1.2 million to research projects with Breast Cancer Now. Future Dreams supports Breast Cancer Now’s goal that by 2050 everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live. Almost all of the 11,500 women who die as a result of breast cancer each year in the UK will have seen their cancer spread. So, it’s vital we find ways to stop it and save the lives of those we love.
Research initiatives we supportHelping you through breast cancer and beyond.
In September 2021, we launched the Future Dreams Online Support Hub hosted by Ticking Off Breast Cancer. We provide practical advice for anyone standing at the edge of the breast cancer precipice not knowing which way to turn – and for their partners, families and friends who would like to know how to help.
Our support hubSylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100. Since then we have raised over £6.5m. We couldn’t do any of this without you. Please donate, if we all act now we believe that by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live.
