CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY – THURSDAy 7th DECEMBER

Check Your Knits! Wear your Christmas jumper this December to help spread awareness for breast cancer and raise funds that will go towards the running of our support services into 2024. Follow the step-by-step instructions below, get your jumpers out and help us on our mission to ensure nobody faces breast cancer alone.

Set up a Just Giving page for Christmas Jumper Day – Thursday 7 December
Promote Christmas Jumper Day in your workplace, ask everyone to participate and for everyone to make a donation via Just Giving.
Check you knits and get ready for the day
Have some fun on the day. Give a prize to the best dressed. Take/share photos. Make sure to tag us on your social media so we can repost your pictures!

STREAMING FOR THE CAUSE

Are you a streamer or interested in streaming to raise money for Future Dreams?

Streaming for charity is a great, interactive way to fundraise. Try cooking or baking, hosting a class, doing a challenge, gaming, or just sitting and talking to camera! Streaming allows audiences from all across the world to join in on your fundraiser, which increases your potential for raising a great total.

Consider using a microphone and ring light to add a professional feel to your stream, ensuring the video quality as well as the sound quality is the best it can be
Let friends, family and followers know you are streaming. Spread the word!
Ensure your stream runs smoothly by planning subjects to speak about and activities to do to keep your viewers engaged.

Take on a walking/running/cycling/swimming challenge – please go to our challenge page for inspiration
Cut, shave or dye your hair pink
Hold a charity cake sale, raffle or auction
Sell your preloved clothes, accessories or your own crafts and donate all or a percentage of the proceeds
Host an event – from a coffee morning to a quiz night, a film night to a gala dinner
Donate whilst you shop online. Go to easyfundraising or websites such as Kinder Gifts
Put a collection pot in your home, community centre or office
Set up a birthday or anniversary fundraiser by requesting donations rather than gifts
Host a charity golf day, crazy golf tournament, netball or five-a-side football tournament

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone. Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House. We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help.
