Breast Cancer And Radiotherapy – Episode 10

Posted by Olivia Phillips on 09 April 2024

There’s a lot of help and information out there for women who have to undergo chemotherapy. Perhaps there’s a bit less about radiotherapy for two reasons – it is not perceived as being as debilitating as chemo and possibly because it comes afterwards, hopefully when you are almost on the ‘home straight’.

For many women it isn’t straightforward, neither mentally nor physically. In this episode Victoria talks to women who tell their stories and how they developed coping mechanisms for handling their radiotherapy programme joined by an expert in breast cancer and radiotherapy.

If you have been touched by Breast Cancer – Future Dreams is here to help.

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help.
