Breast Cancer And Telling My Kids – Episode 6

Posted by victoria on 19 January 2022

How frank should you be with your kids when you need to tell them that you have breast cancer? What words should you use or avoid? It’s a tough conversation to deal with especially when you are learning to cope yourself with a diagnosis. Victoria talks to three women – with children of different ages – who have had to break the news of – and help them through – their own breast cancer experience.

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help.
