On Monday 10 October Future Dreams hosted an exclusive anniversary lunch at the Savoy London in celebration of two major landmarks in the battle against breast cancer.

Thirty years ago, Evelyn Lauder launched The Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign with its iconic Pink Ribbon which has raised over £90 million for ground-breaking research. One year ago, Future Dreams House opened the only dedicated breast cancer centre in the UK offering emotional and practical support for those touched by the disease. In the last 12 months the house has given transformative help to more than 1,000 women from all over the UK.

Hosted by presenter, Gaby Roslin and with award winning journalist and broadcaster, Victoria Derbyshire leading the panel discussion (both Future Dreams ambassadors), the lunch promoted breast cancer awareness, raised vital funds for support and recognised incredible women who have made an outstanding contribution to the breast cancer community.

Congratulations to the winners of the Future Dreams Humanitarian Awards, Leanne Pero (Black Women Rising) and Nicky Newman (Secondary Sisters).

Other highlights included the auction of luxury handbags donated by designer brands, such as Stella McCartney, Fendi and Jimmy Choo to name a few.

This fundraising afternoon enables Future Dreams to continue its work at the house as well as funding research projects and awareness campaigns, reminding people that early detection saves lives.

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
