Sky Awareness Day

Sky’s Body & Mind team collaborated with the Women at Sky department and organised a few members of the Future Dreams Team, including our Breast Care Nurse Jackie, to come into their workplace, spread awareness and to tell personal stories. The team had a fantastic day speaking to everybody about the work that we do and we brought some of our favourite products from the Future Dreams house for people to purchase.

The wonderful Jackie Beltrao took over the Sky theatre space for an empowering talk alongside Sarah Jane Mee, Julia Leckey and Oncologist Fharat Raja. The ladies each spoke about their personal Breast Cancer journeys from diagnosis to present day, and encouraged early detection by proper self checking.

We extend a huge thank you to Sky for helping us on our mission to raise breast cancer awareness, and to make sure nobody faces breast cancer alone.

A long wooden table set up in the main foyer at Sky, with loads of Future Dreams products across the table. At the back, in big pink cardboard boxes are three raffle prizes. The boxes are filled with beauty products, self care products and hair and nail products. Infront of these boxes is a line of Self Care Co candles, one with the lid off so that people can smell the product. There is a pile of small pink boxes filled with bejewelled pink ribbon broaches. On the far corner of the table is a selection of nail polishes, some light pink and some light purple. In the background you can see a series of big glass windows showing some outdoor seating and trees in the sunshine.
