Zumba fundraiser for Future Dreams

Posted by Olivia Phillips on 01 December 2023

Charlotte and Ellie put the FUN in fundraising. They had everyone up on their feet, dancing along and moving their bodies in the name of raising money for Future Dreams.

Charlotte was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, at the age of 36, and when her cancer hit it took so many things, but one of those things was her strength and fitness. Two months ago, she decided to invest in herself and begin to work at feeling strong again. Since, she has made those small steps she feels boosted, recharged and confident to join new classes and wanted others to experience the benefits of exercise in her fundraiser.

“I really believe exercise gives us wings and boy do we need wings sometimes to help us stand back up after something as vicious as cancer has pushed us over.” – Charlotte, Future Dreams Fundraiser.

Charlotte and the team came together and raised £500. This can help to fund one-to-one appointments with a Breast Care Nurse for up to 17 individuals to help with providing expert advice and guidance.

A huge well done from all of us at Future Dreams and thank you to those that took part and got involved.

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
