Last weekend at BBC Radio 2 In The Park, Kylie was presented with a woolen
postbox topper, knitted by Syston Knitting Banxy (SKB) who has said, “Knitting
my toppers was originally to just bring a smile to people’s faces but sometimes
I have been able to raise awareness of a charity that was important to a
member of my local community. This week I have been able to help a most
wonderful charity, Future Dreams a Breast Cancer Charity, that is at the heart
of a most successful pop princess, Kylie Minogue. For obvious reasons this has
taken social media by storm and leaves me happily overwhelmed by the love shown
for my knitted creation.”
Radio 2 Leicester presenter, Ady Dayman was tasked with the challenge
to get the woolen Kylie to the real Kylie, and when he did, it was said she was
“absolutely made up and so, so touched”, posing with it above her
head.

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone. Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House. We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
