Dawn Takes The Plunge for Future Dreams

Posted by Suzanne Brennan on 10 June 2024

On the 7th of June, Dawn, having experienced her own diagnosis, took on a skinny dip in The Quays Mytchett lake in honour of her mother Doreen who passed away from breast cancer. Dawn described the morning as “glorious”, saying “I think my lovely Mum sent the sunshine!”.

Thank you so much to Dawn for exceeding her fundraising target and raising an incredible £555 to support the work we do here at Future Dreams.

“Skinny dipping in my happy place, raising money for  a cause so close to my heart in honour of my lovely Mum, who bought the sunshine was a total liberating, heart warming and empowering experience! “

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
