Future Dreams Golf Day 2024 at Brocket Hall

Posted by Olivia Phillips on 27 June 2024

On Monday 24th June 2024, Future Dreams held their Golf Day at the stunning Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire.

All the teams got ready to tee off at their hole for a shotgun start and took on the challenging course in stunning surroundings. The course crosses the River Lea on four occasions as you follow the natural contours of the Estate, before a memorable finish in front of the Hall after a short ferry ride to the 18th green.

One lucky team played alongside boxing legend, John Conteh who joined us for the day and answered a Q&A for guests.

It was a hot summer day out on the course which showcased the stunning grounds. Our wonderful volunteers helped to run the halfway house and greeted them with a big smile making sure all our golfers had a drink and a few snacks to keep them going.

Future Dreams is delighted to announce that the event raised over £36,800. All proceeds will help to fund the charity’s support services, research projects and awareness campaigns.

We would like to thank our wonderful sponsors including, Synergy, Dukelease, Griggs, Savills, Octopus, Hillcrest, and Curlew. Thanks also to those who helped to contribute and support the event including Yummies, Cano Water, Next, Pure Pr, VPAR, RevitaLash Cosmetics, Natura Bisse, FTB, Under The Posts, Hackett London and our amazing volunteers.

We plan to bring you another Golf Day event next year and make this an annual event to mark in your calendars. Please keep up-to-date with the latest event news by checking our website and socials or subscribe to our newsletter.

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
