Future Dreams is honoured to have worked with iconic lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret for the past 3 years. The brand is passionate and invested in helping to raise funds to support the breast cancer community as well as generating awareness around breast health and knowing the signs and symptoms of the disease. For the third consecutive year, Victoria’s Secret has sponsored the Bra Lounge at Future Dreams House with specialist bra fitter, Monica Harrington who advises women on their choice of bras and prosthesis post breast cancer treatment and surgery. Victoria’s secret also works closely with Monica to ensure bra fitters nationwide are trained in fitting post-surgery women.
Victoria’s Secret also designed its first ever post-surgery bra in 2021, a comfortable and beautiful design with pockets at the inner lining allowing for prosthetics and inserts. At the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) 2023, Victoria’s Secret support reached new heights after confirming 5p from every bra sold in store and online will be donated to Future Dreams to help raise funds for support, awareness and research. The partnership is centred around supporting women to regain their confidence and identity following a diagnosis and the charity is honoured to be continuing its work and mission with the brand.
Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone. Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House. We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
