West Yorkshire Spinners

Posted by Future Dreams Team on 31 July 2024

Environmentally conscious and family-run, West Yorkshire Spinners is based in the Aire Valley in West Yorkshire. The company collaborates closely with farmers and wool merchants to ensure sustainability and ethical production practices. They develop their blends and colors in-house, drawing inspiration from seasonal trends and selecting shades that complement the natural fibre.

Our Partnership

West Yorkshire Spinners created an exclusive Future Dreams Yarn as well as a knitting pattern to create a yarn flower. These handcrafted flowers were sent to The House to be part of a spring installation, and photos of the flowers were included in a virtual flower installation, accompanied by dedications and messages. These handcrafted flowers were sent to The House to be part of a spring installation, and photos of the flowers were included in a virtual flower installation, accompanied by dedications and messages. The physical flowers contributed to the creation of an Arch Of Hope, welcoming guests and adorning the building with vibrant flower arrangements. Additionally, £1 from every ball of Future Dreams Yarn sold was donated to support our work.

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
