Future Dreams was started in 2008 by mother and daughter Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie. By a cruel twist of fate, they were both diagnosed with breast cancer, Danielle just 35 and a mother of 3 young children. Tragically both women lost their lives to the disease within a year of each other in 2009.
We need your help to continue their legacy. We have a range of paid and voluntary roles to ensure no one faces breast cancer alone.

Future Dreams has created a breast cancer support centre, based in central London called Future Dreams House
Visitors will be able to access practical support both in-person and virtually including image workshops, life coaching, financial and nutritional advice on exercise and healthy eating. Perhaps the most vital function of the new centre is to provide a non-medical environment in which people can form friendships and networks that will help them to take on this disease from a place of solidarity and empowerment.
Future Dreams is honoured to be guided by a board of experienced trustees with expertise derived from the media, property and financial sectors as well as a deep professional and personal understanding of living with breast cancer.
As a charity, we are inspired by the vision of our founders and the precious insight and advice from the people and families we have met on the journey. Future Dreams wants to make a breast cancer experience less bleak and lonely using these core values.
Everybody needs kindness and consideration as they face a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. We promise kindness, compassion, empathy and practical help.
Everyone’s breast cancer experience is different, which is why Future Dreams treats everyone as an individual and does our best to offer help in the way that works best for them.
Finding the right group of people to share your journey with and who offers the right support can be an important part of the breast cancer journey. We work with many other breast cancer charities and support groups and can help connect with like-minded individuals.
Finding optimism in the darkest of times can feel like an impossible task but we will offer practical and emotional support to try to help the breast cancer community find the light.
Breast cancer can be a lonely and isolating experience. We aim to offer practical and emotional support to help patients feel less alone and to help navigate their way.
We are a charity born out of love, family, warmth, friendship and the desire to make a difference. Everyone is welcome in the Future Dreams family whether your need help or you can offer it to others.
We’re always looking for people that want to make a difference to the breast cancer community. If you’d like to offer support in another way, please get in touch.
