On Saturday 9th November, some members of the Future Dreams community and staff headed down to The Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith for an evening of amazing music. Once welcomed into the venue, our very own Nicky, host of our Yarn Therapy workshops, took us to meet Paul, where we got a group photo on the stage!
After this, we set up to begin fundraising. Standing by the entrance to collect donations as guests made their way in and spreading the word of work we do. Donations were also collected on the box office as guests came in to collect tickets. Everybody gave very generously.
We went inside to enjoy the incredible show that Paul and his band put on before heading back out to the entrance to do some final bits of fundraising as people made their way home.
A huge thank you to Nicky for organising this and for being such a vital part of fundraising on the evening, and to Paul for allowing us to spread the word of Future Dreams and collect donations at his show.
Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone. Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House. We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
