The Gold award for Future Dreams

Two Golds in three years for our brilliant podcast, hosted by Victoria Derbyshire

We are so delighted to announce that our podcast “And Then Came Breast Cancer” has claimed Gold in the Best Wellbeing Podcast category at the British Podcast Awards 2024.

The “And Then Came Breast Cancer” podcast covers all aspects of life and all the questions, worries, feelings and flutterings that occur following a breast cancer diagnosis. In true Future Dreams style, Victoria and her guests offer practical advice, emotional support, and reassurance that you’re really not alone – those “It can’t just be me?” moments aren’t just happening to you.

Deservedly proud, Victoria took to her social media accounts to join Future Dreams in thanking everyone involved in the podcast; from the production team to the listeners at home, to Genesis Care who sponsored our most recent series, we’re so glad to have you.

“Thank you SO much for listening and to all of you incredible women and men who have taken part.” said Victoria. “You are frank, you are open, and you are helping thousands of others.”

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
