Posted by Olivia Phillips on 03 July 2023

Supporters Meet Up

Supporters meet up group launching on Thursday 20th July, 6pm-8pm, in the Dream Kitchen at Future Dreams House.

The Supporters meet up group at Future Dreams House offers a relaxed and informal setting for partners and carers only whose loved ones are or have been affected by breast cancer.

Hosted by Michael, David, Asif, Adam and Eddy, whose loved ones have been affected by breast cancer, alongside Jackie, our expert Breast Care Nurse, who will be available to answer any concerns or questions on treatment and diagnosis.

This group aims to offer a relaxed safe space where support partners can meet people who are facing similar issues. The meet ups encourage open conversations and experiences related to supporting someone with breast cancer. The focus is to meet likeminded people to share experiences, provide emotional support, coping strategies and exchanging practical advice and exchanging practical advice over a drink in the Future Dreams Kitchen.

We will be serving a delicious vegetarian curry with cocktails and mocktails to launch our first Supporters meet up. Please note this meet-up is only for partners and carers of those touched by breast cancer.

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
