The Future Dreams charity was founded in 2008 by mother and daughter Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie. These two extraordinary women lost their lives to breast cancer but were determined to leave a legacy that no woman should ever have to go through the illness alone. In this special episode, Victoria talks to some of the people who knew Danielle and Sylvie the best and hears that their story is as uplifting and empowering as it is poignant.
You can contact us at podcast@futuredreams.org.uk for help and advice and Victoria is @VicDerbyshire on Twitter and Instagram. If you have been touched by breast cancer – Future Dreams is here to help.
Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone. Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House. We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
