Get Involved with NHS Survey

Posted by Olivia Phillips on 21 September 2023

An opportunity to become involved in helping to develop the future of the NHS Breast Screening Programme in London, Hertsmere, Watford and Three Rivers.

NHS England value the views and experiences of users and would very much welcome your involvement in helping them to achieve their vision for accessible and inclusive Breast Screening services in London, Hertsmere, Watford and Three Rivers.

There are two ways you can get involved. You can apply to be a Patient and Public Voice Partner and would be supported throughout your involvement. This role would help to develop the NHS Breast Screening service requirements for the next 3-5 years and assist in the selection of organisations who will deliver the service. By taking part in this you will be asked to attend meetings (mostly online) to provide insight from a service user perspective. The time commitment is expected to be around 5 days spread across approximately 7 months.

If you feel this is something you would like to be involved in, please complete the application form (link below) by Friday 22nd September and email Corrinn Elford at corrinn.elford@nhs.net

Alternatively, you can still help to develop the service by completing a short online questionnaire to provide feedback on your views of NHS Breast Screening services in London and Hertsmere, Watford and Three Rivers. A summary of all responses will be put into a report that will be considered in the planning of the new service. All responses will remain anonymous and will be treated in confidence. Link to complete form below.

Donate to those touched by BREAST cancer

Sylvie and Danielle began Future Dreams with just £100 in 2008. They believed nobody should face breast cancer alone.  Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams House.  We couldn’t continue to fund support services for those touched by breast cancer, raise awareness of breast cancer and promote early diagnosis and advance research into secondary breast cancer without your help. Please consider partnering with us or making a donation.
